It bothered me that I couldn’t see anything from the many cameras around the car when at night or in poor lighting. Basically, the whole system is only usable in daylight. So I figured I would install some lights under the car, and I messed around with a few different ones until I found these rock lights on Amazon. I purchased two 16-packs, but I only used 12 of them. I may use the other others if I wanna add lighting directly underneath the car. Right now it perfectly creates a ring of light around the car and you can see everything crystal clear at night. Basically an under glow, activated with a switch that I mounted below the ignition switch. I’m sure it’s not for everyone, but if the issue has bugged you, and you want to use this feature on your car at night, maybe you should consider this as well. Only used $75 in parts between the lights and wiring harness with switch. I picked that wiring harness because the switch itself had a nice clicky feel to it. I picked the lights because they look like they would spread the light evenly, and they did. Though I’m sure this would work just as well with any combination of rock lights and wiring harness you can find on Amazon.
