People can be really rude in Santa Fe. As a white male, I often feel treated poorly on a daily basis.

I believe this comment is just intended to provoke controversy. My wife is a person of color, and we’ve never encountered any problems. Most people are very kind. Just stop it.

I experience some microaggressions from my neighbors and a few macroaggressions from one neighbor in particular (I’m Mexican and live near older white residents), but I’ve never been a victim of a hate crime. If it’s serious, please report it to the police or call them out on social media. Make sure to document everything.
