What’s the real difference between Smart Cruise Control and HDA?

I’ve already decided to get the SEL trim, so this is more out of curiosity. I can’t figure out how Highway Driving Assist (HDA) in the Limited trim is really different from using Smart Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist on the SEL trim. Can anyone explain how they compare?

Here’s a video explaining HDA. On highways, HDA can automatically adjust your speed when the speed limit changes.

That’s cool. I’ve also noticed it can change lanes when I use my turn signal. Are there any other features it comes with?

@Blake
HDA includes steering assist to keep you centered in your lane. The lane-change feature is only available on the Calligraphy trim, though.

I know what you mean. I’ve seen something like this on Kia models. It’s neat, but I don’t use it much since highway traffic usually flows faster than the speed limit anyway.

Is there a trick to making this work? I turned it on in the settings, and it shows ‘NAV’ on the highway like the manual says, but I’ve never seen it adjust my speed automatically.
