Where are people placing their ezpass in the 24/25 model?

So where are people putting their EZPass? Just wondering what works best for the 24/25 model.

In the soap dish?

So where are you supposed to put the Funko pop then? Honestly, some people don’t think these things through. :slight_smile:

Where is this? Are you talking about the area near the rearview mirror?

Serious question. I’m checking out the Santa Fe for the first time this week. Can’t you just put it behind the rearview where it belongs?

You can, but some people don’t have the sticker, they use the transponder box instead.

@Blayne
You mean the Velcro stickers? You can buy replacements (3M or knockoffs) on Amazon. I’ve done it a few times. Edited for grammar.

No, some toll authorities use a sticker with an RFID thing inside. It gets placed on your windshield and can’t be removed in a way that lets you reuse it. If you change cars, you can ask for a new one (they don’t charge you anything for that).

I’m in Illinois, and they switched to the sticker here, but I put it in the center of the windshield, directly below the lane camera housing/rearview mirror. It doesn’t affect anything, reads every time, and isn’t visible to the driver.

@Denver
Thanks. This is probably what I’ll do. I was worried it’s too low. In Maryland, they say to put it to the right of the mirror, but that seems too far over, given the size of the camera housing.

@Soren
That’s what they recommend in Illinois too, but I had some problems, so I moved it and haven’t had an issue since. I can’t see it in my line of sight, so I’m happy. I hate anything attached to my windshield that’s not OEM. :sweat_smile:

On the windshield, in the upper passenger side corner. You can’t even tell it’s there.

I put my sticker on cling tape so I can easily remove it from the windshield when I don’t need it. It’s a permanent sticker, though, so you’ll have to order a new one if you try to remove it.
