2024 Caligraphy Radar Working Poorly

Anyone having issues with the radar capabilities of the car? Forward crash/parking sensors, etc.?

When driving in even light rain, warnings pop up on the dash informing me that many of the safety features aren’t working. Pretty disappointing. I live in Canada and winter is coming. If the system fails in light rain, I’m sure it’s doomed with any snow accumulation.

I’ve had many other vehicles with similar features that could handle most inclement weather, so this is really surprising.

Drat, that’s not good. I’m in the Pacific Northwest, so we get a lot of rain (everything from a light mist to a deluge), and I haven’t experienced this yet. I did see a post from someone having sensor issues in slush and snow.

Take it back to the dealer and ask them to check it. It should be covered by warranty.

Took it this week. They said they ran a diagnostic and found no issues.

Keep in mind the radar is primarily for forward crash and smart cruise control. Parking and proximity sensors are the ultrasonic disks on the bumpers. Not sure if that distinction helps at all with your troubleshooting.

No issues here. Mine works great. This vehicle practically drives itself if you want it to. I love the lane change ability on mine, and it works flawlessly. Took it on an 8-hour round trip, and the only thing it can’t do is exit the freeway for you.

I’m sure you’re already doing this, but you need to keep the radar in front and all the cameras fairly clean and clear of bugs, mud, etc.

I’ve already driven mine in pouring rain and snow without any issues. It’s -20°C here with a foot of snow already, and it works great.
