I love my new 2024 Santa Fe… it’s a great ride and I was really excited about it. But I’m starting to notice some little problems popping up. Wondering if anyone else is having similar issues or if it’s just my bad luck. I had two older Santa Fe models before this, and they never gave me trouble. Hoping this one doesn’t turn out to be a headache!
I gotta say, that color looks awesome!

Thanks! The moment I saw it, I knew I had to have it.
I haven’t had any issues in the 7 months I’ve owned mine. I keep digital keys and midnight ventilation enabled, and my mirrors fold and unfold constantly when I’m around my porch. Battery seems fine.

Wait, what’s ‘midnight ventilation’?
@Steele
It’s a feature that helps keep the air inside the car fresh by circulating it. You can find it in the settings menu.

Yep, that’s it.
The steering wheel camera feature is really annoying. I don’t own a Santa Fe, but I rented one for a week. Did a lot of highway driving, and even with the safety feature turned off, cruise control would still cut out if I put my hand at the top of the wheel.
@Jody
I actually totaled my Santa Fe and the steering wheel camera is the one thing making me hesitate about getting another one. I drive with one hand over the top and it always messes with me. I heard you can turn it off in Canada, but not here in the US. What’s up with that?
I get it. I’ve had problems with my hybrid too. It’s frustrating when you buy a new car and run into issues right away. Hopefully, Hyundai can sort things out for you.

Exactly, it’s super disappointing. This is my third Santa Fe, and my 2020 and 2022 models were great. I’m hoping the dealer does the right thing this time.
Love that Hampton Gray color! We’ve had ours for 2 months and haven’t had any problems at all. Still loving it.
Had it happen to me once, but I’m not sure what caused it.
I’ve got a 2025 hybrid and had a small scratch on the paint, plus the leather seat trim was cut too short. The dealer’s fixing the leather cover right now. No other issues so far, but the trunk does make a loud clunk every time I open it. Does yours do that too?
Try updating the software. I had the same problem with my 2023 model, and the update fixed it.
