Finally installed a dash cam in my 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy!
Is that the Fitcamx? I’ve got one on order for my 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy! How was the installation process? I’m a bit nervous about removing the plastic shroud without breaking anything.

I was nervous too, but their video guide is pretty accurate. Just be careful not to pry the part fused to the windshield—only the cover that sits on top of the radar/camera assembly. It’s easy to confuse the two since both are plastic.

I canceled my Amazon order and went directly through the Fitcamx site. They’re asking for photos of the removed shroud and wiring. Guess I’ll have to remove it myself and hope for the best!

They sent me the ACC connection, which I wasn’t thrilled about since it’s more critical than the rain sensor. But it works perfectly, and removing the connector was a breeze.
How did you make it look so seamless? It looks factory-installed!

It’s the Fitcamx. Here’s the link: Fitcamx Dash Cam for Hyundai Santa Fe 2024 2025 (Rear Mirror Cover par – FITCAMX
Does the audio work on yours? Mine doesn’t, even after enabling it. Support hasn’t been very helpful so far.
How’s the video quality? I’ve been having issues with parking mode on my Viofo A329 and am considering switching to Fitcamx. Just want to make sure the day and night video quality are solid.

I have a Viofo 119 Mini 2, and I’d say the Viofo has better video quality, especially for license plates at night. That said, the Fitcamx is good enough for determining fault in an accident.
I installed mine (front and rear) through the rain sensor, and it worked great. Just a heads-up: some people have had issues with loop recording if they use the supplied SD card. I switched to a 256GB card from my Viofo, wiped it, and reset the camera settings—no problems since. It’s also a good idea to periodically wipe the card to avoid errors.

You might also need a firmware update. They don’t post it on their site, but if you email them, they’ll send it. Their support can be hit or miss, though.
@Logan
Thanks for the tip! I emailed them and got the firmware update within minutes. Updating now.
Installation only took me 5 minutes, and the video quality is solid. Definitely good enough to back you up in case of an accident.
I just picked up a 2025 Calligraphy, and this looks like a must-have.
Edit: Where did you use the plastic pry tool? From the top near the headliner, or closer to the glass?
Edit 2: Just saw your comment about the video guide—looks simple enough.
Did you install a rear-view cam as well, or just the front?
