Is this a good out-the-door price for a 2024 XRT?

Ugh, it autocorrected XRT to ‘dry.’

I’ve been going back and forth between two local dealerships, and the lowest offer I’ve gotten is $41,500. Not sure if this is a solid deal or not.

Also, during negotiating, if I ask for a free tow package instead of a lower price, would that actually be more cost-effective for the dealership?

I just bought a limited model last week in GA for $43k.

To really know if it’s a good deal, you’d need to share the sticker MSRP, the amount discounted, any dealer add-ons, and doc fees on top of that price.

As for the tow package, does that include just the hitch or other features?

@Quinby
Good point!

  • MSRP: $42,625
  • Rebate: $5,006
  • Subtotal: $37,618
  • Tax: $2,551
  • Tag and title: $531
  • ‘Predelivery service charge’: $799

That seems like a good price, especially with that rebate. You might be able to push back on the service charge, though—it’s pretty high if it includes doc fees.

I bought my 2024 Calligraphy last week for $42k before TTL and other fees.

Was this for a hybrid?

Nope, it was gas.

$7k off MSRP? Did that include dealer add-ons or doc fees?

Yes, that was the vehicle price, plus the usual TTL and fees. We also had a $1,500 rebate. No idea why people downvoted.

@Tatum
People get downvoted when they don’t provide enough detail, like MSRP, rebates, or other fees, because it’s hard to compare without that info.

It helps if people clarify what’s included (like dealer add-ons, doc fees, TTL) or mention any extras. The more data we share, the better we all do in negotiations!

@Quinby
Got it! Sorry for the confusion. Mine was gas, FWD, and I posted the vehicle cost before TTL, just not all the details.

No worries. Sharing details helps everyone negotiate smarter!
