I’m considering buying the 2025 Hybrid Calligraphy. Do you think it’s worth trying to buy it before the end of the year? I doubt they’re trying to clear inventory, but who knows. I’m not sure if they’ll have the color I want either.
I work in the automotive industry (non-sales/service), and we’re already preparing for tariffs to hit. It might be a good idea to make any big purchases soon.

That’s why I bought mine after Thanksgiving. I was going to wait another year, but then he won the election.

I bought mine last week because of that too.
We ended up getting a better deal on the 2025 hybrid than some of the 2024s on the lot. I wouldn’t wait for possible tariffs!
From what I’ve heard, prices are only going to increase in 2025. Nobody can predict the future, but it seems like tariffs are coming, and there could be part shortages again.
My wife and I were planning to buy next year, but with reports of retailers already raising prices, we can’t see how things won’t go up in the next model year. Any leftovers for this year will likely get COVID-era price increases. Maybe we’re overthinking it, but prices and payments are already high enough, and it’s a headache to juggle everything around Christmas. It’s not fun.
I work at Hyundai. You’ll get better rates now than in January. That’s why it’s good to buy now—plus there’s the tax write-off.
We bought ours after the election because we figured prices (and possibly interest rates) would only go up.
Trump Tariffs
I bought mine a few weeks ago. The finance guy said everyone in the business is expecting tariffs to hit hard. No regrets buying a few months earlier than I planned.
I checked with my local dealers, and it looks like they’ve already cleared out their 2024s. I heard from others here who got great discounts on them.
The longer you wait, the longer it will take to enjoy it. You should go to the dealer first thing in the morning.
I just got mine this weekend. I got $1000 off MSRP, including an Amazon discount. My trade-in was valued fairly. I was also worried about the tariffs.
