TPMS Not Showing Up with Winter Tires… Normal?

Hey everyone,

I’ve put winter tires on my ‘24 Santa Fe, and on all my previous vehicles, the TPMS light would come on to let me know there were no sensors in the winter tires. It’s been over a week now, and still no light or alert showing up.

Is this normal? Anyone else have the same experience?

Mine took about 45 minutes of driving on the highway before it realized the sensors weren’t there. I’d expect it to show up eventually.

Same here—no light or alert with my winter tires and no TPMS sensors. Nice surprise!

Had the same experience. Dealer told me the sensors don’t come with the winter tire set, so no TPMS for winter. But I’m not getting any alerts from the car either, so it works out.
