I’m hoping some owners can help me out. I’ve ordered a 2025 Santa Fe, and I’m trying to figure out if it’ll fit in my garage.
The online specs only give the width without mirrors at 74.8 inches, but I need to know how wide it is with the mirrors. My garage is 8 feet wide. Any help is appreciated!

Those mirrors are pretty big; they even fold in automatically when you lock it!
The mirrors stick out about 7 inches beyond the door handles when open, but only about 2 inches when folded. So worst case, it’s probably around 89 inches total.
It’s really not a very wide vehicle—only about 2 inches wider than most full-size sedans. It’ll fit.

It’ll fit, but getting in and out might be a tight squeeze. The door swing takes up a lot of the space in a narrow garage.

I’m guessing they’re just asking about the width for getting through the garage door, not the interior space. But if they’re worried about getting in and out, there’s always the remote forward/reverse parking feature!
It’ll fit fine. Just hit the center button on the mirror control, and they’ll fold in when needed.

Wait, really?! Is that feature on all trims? I have an XRT, and I’d love it if mine did that. Can’t check right now with all this snow coming down.

The XRT doesn’t auto-fold. You’ll have to fold them manually when needed.
No worries, the mirrors fold in! It’s not like a Chevy.
